Maui


I managed to break away for a week...No husband, no kids, no responsibilities.  Just me and a girlfriend hanging out in one of the most beautiful places on earth.  I'm refreshed, rested and sporting a pretty sweet tan(if I do say so myself).
Maui, I miss you already.

    looks amazing! I just love maui! I want to spend my 40th birthday there! And how much would I LOVE a little vase of plumeria's after seeing that picture!

    Hope you make it to maui for your 40th Lissa! The Plumeria lasted all week...I tried to bring some home for my girls but they didn't make it:( Love your new blog, your photography and recipes are amazing. Can't wait to try your turkey meat loaf!

    I do feel blessed especially since I woke up to a rainy grey Seattle day that looks a whole lot more like fall than summer! Rain, Rain go away!

    Didn't get to surf this trip but I did spend quite a bit of time in the ocean snorkeling and swimming.
    I think in another life I was a mermaid...

    Okay, so this is going to sound funny, but you look like a girl I went to high school with. I went to both Mt. Rainier and Mercer Island H.S.     That is funny! Small world...I went to MIHS my last year..my maiden name was Rioux then, it's Heryford now. Yearbook pic was awful...how we have all grown up since then! Anyway, great blog...I love looking for new ideas...I am always doing something, and am constantly on the hunt for new ideas! So thanks so much for sharing!
