Paper+Frame = Instant gratification

Looking for a little pick me up?  There are so many pretty wrapping papers out now.

Honey, I'm home......

Yippppeeeeee!!! 
I just got back from a fun girls getaway!  I had such an incredible time with my girlfriends.  We sat by the pool, shopped till we dropped, hit all the happy hours, danced like no one was watching, and we laughed so hard we cried.  


I came home "recharged" and ready to take on 2010! 


fun right? 


It gets even better....... my sweet husband, surprised me by spending the entire time working on household projects that we'd been "talking" about doing. 


He replaced part of our fence line that had taken a beating during a pickle ball tournament a couple summers ago, and part of the railing on our back deck needed some reinforcing(major tasks for the non-builder type, making it even more special).


Here's the topper .....  He put in a raised garden for herbs and veggies!  The miracle is that he managed to keep it a secret.  I was so surprised.  It's one of the nicest things he's ever done for me.  

When I was growing up my mom used to say to me, "hard work is love made visible".   Coming home to this, I couldn't agree with her more.....
